The Dell PowerEdge R730 is a 2U rack system equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v3 processors, each running at 2.6 GHz with 10 cores and 3.3 GHz turbo. It ships with 512 GB of DDR4 2133 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 modules and a PERC H730 1 GB RAID controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.

This configuration fits midsize enterprises running virtual desktop infrastructure, databases or high-performance computing data nodes that rely on SAS or SATA storage.
