Two hot-swap 750 W platinum-efficiency power supplies provide full redundancy for continuous operation. The 2U chassis uses Dell’s engineered airflow path to cool both CPUs, the PERC H730 controller, the quad-port X520/I350 network daughter card and the installed SSDs without exceeding typical rack thermal limits. Acoustic output remains within standard data-centre expectations for a dual-socket 2U server.

The PERC H730 1 GB controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode for the two 800 GB SATA SSDs and up to six additional 2.5-inch drives. The X520/I350 card adds two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ ports for flexible fabric connectivity. iDRAC8 Enterprise delivers full remote management with virtual console, power control and lifecycle automation.
