This 2U rack server holds twenty-four 2.5-inch drive bays and two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors, each with 14 cores at 2.0GHz and 3.2GHz Turbo. It ships with 128GB of DDR4 2400MHz registered ECC memory across eight 16GB modules. The platform targets midsize and large enterprises running data warehouses, e-commerce, VDI, databases or HPC data-node roles.

Sustained throughput with 24 SAS spindles

Twenty-four 300GB 10K SAS drives feed a Dell PERC H730 1GB controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode. The battery-backed cache protects in-flight writes during power events. Dual Xeon 14-core CPUs and 128GB DDR4 keep compute and memory bandwidth steady while the array serves continuous random I/O.

Redundant power, remote management and ready rails

Two 750W Platinum hot-swap power supplies provide N+1 redundancy without downtime. iDRAC 8 Enterprise gives full out-of-band control for firmware updates, console redirection and health monitoring. A quad-port Intel X520/I350 daughter card adds two 1GbE and two 10Gb SFP+ links. Sliding rails and a front bezel are included for immediate rack integration.
