Twenty-four 800 GB SATA SSDs sit behind a PERC H730 controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Confirm the cabinet accepts a 2U chassis and that the rails supplied match the mounting depth. Two 750 W platinum power supplies require compatible PDU outlets and sufficient circuit capacity for redundant operation. The LGA 2011-3 socket and C610 chipset limit future CPU upgrades to the same processor family. Memory slots total 24, with a 1.5 TB ceiling using registered ECC DDR4 modules.

Included rails, bezel and iDRAC

Ready Rails and the front bezel arrive fitted, reducing installation time in standard racks. iDRAC 8 Enterprise enables out-of-band console access, firmware updates and hardware monitoring without an operating system. The PERC H730 battery backs cached writes during power loss, protecting array integrity. The SFP+ ports need compatible transceivers and fibre or direct-attach cables, which are not supplied.
