This 2U rack server ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2609v3 six-core processor running at 1.9 GHz and 48 GB of DDR4 memory across 24 DIMM slots. It includes a Perc H330 RAID controller, three 600 GB 15K SAS drives, and dual 750 W redundant power supplies. The chassis provides twelve 3.5-inch hot-plug bays for SAS or SATA drives.

Storage capacity and controller

The H330 controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60 across a maximum of 52 TB of raw capacity. Three 600 GB 15K SAS drives are installed from the factory, leaving nine bays available for expansion. The controller operates at 12 Gbps and the backplane accepts both SAS and SATA media.

Sustained-load behaviour

Dual 750 W redundant power supplies keep the system running if one unit fails or is removed during operation. Twelve 3.5-inch drive bays and up to six PCIe 3.0 slots generate heat that the 2U chassis manages with its standard cooling design. iDRAC8 with Lifecycle Controller provides remote monitoring and firmware updates without requiring physical access.
