This Dell PowerEdge T430 arrives as a new 5U rack server populated with two Intel Xeon E5-2695 v4 processors running at 2.1 GHz with 3.3 GHz turbo. Eighteen cores per socket deliver thirty-six threads for multi-threaded workloads such as virtualization, database hosting and business applications. The system targets IT teams that need dense compute in a tower-to-rack convertible chassis.

64 GB DDR4 with 384 GB ceiling

Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory ship in four 16 GB modules across twelve DIMM slots, leaving eight slots open for expansion up to the 384 GB maximum. The PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache manages sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap bays, though only four drive trays are included. Storage capacity scales with added SAS or SATA drives, while memory headroom supports larger virtual machine densities.

Redundant 750 W PSUs and iDRAC 8 Express

Dual 750-watt platinum power supplies provide hot-swap redundancy for continuous operation. Integrated dual-port gigabit Ethernet handles baseline connectivity, and iDRAC 8 Express enables remote firmware updates, power cycling and console access without a local KVM. The front bezel and ready rails are not included, so rack mounting hardware must be sourced separately. PCIe slots remain available for additional RAID, networking or accelerator cards.
