The Dell Precision T7910 is a tower workstation built around a single Intel Xeon E5-2640 v4 processor with ten cores at 2.4 GHz and hyperthreading giving twenty threads. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and a 1 TB 7.2 K SATA hard drive. The NVIDIA NVS 310 graphics card provides 512 MB of video memory and dual DisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor setups. 1300 W supply and flexible drive bays

A 1300 W power supply rated at 90 % efficiency with active power factor correction delivers headroom for additional components. The chassis supports up to four M.2 PCIe SSDs and either four 3.5-inch or eight 2.5-inch SATA/SAS drives, while an integrated LSI SAS 3008 controller handles software RAID 0, 1 and 10 across eight drives. Two Intel SATA ports serve optical devices and a DVD-RW drive is fitted as standard.

Dual gigabit Ethernet and quiet tower cooling

Intel I217 and I210 gigabit Ethernet controllers provide wired network connectivity. The tower form factor measuring 21.5 by 8.5 by 17.2 inches uses directed airflow to cool the 1300 W supply and Xeon processor under sustained load. At 50 lbs the unit remains stable on a desk or rack shelf while the NVS 310 runs passively for silent 2D display operation.
