The Dell VXRail E560 10B is a rackmount server built for business workloads such as virtualisation, databases, backups and application hosting. Two Intel Xeon Silver 4114 processors deliver 20 cores at 2.20GHz to handle multiple services and virtual machines. The 128GB DDR4 ECC registered memory supports data-heavy applications while the 8-bay 2.5-inch chassis houses eight 1.2TB 10k SAS drives for operating systems, applications and business data.

Included Controller And Networking

An integrated H740P storage controller simplifies setup and day-to-day management of the SAS array. Dual-port 10GbE X540 and dual-port 1GbE I350 networking adapters provide flexible connectivity for VM traffic, replication and management networks without extra cards. The system ships with no operating system so you can install your preferred hypervisor or OS immediately.

Capacity And Expansion Limits

The platform maxes out at two processors and 3TB of DDR4 memory across the installed DIMM slots. Only eight 2.5-inch drive bays are available, limiting raw storage to the fitted 1.2TB SAS devices unless drives are replaced. Integrated graphics handle basic console output but cannot accelerate compute workloads. Buyers who need more drive bays, GPU acceleration or higher core counts per socket must choose a different chassis.
