This ATX board uses the Intel Z390 chipset and the LGA 1151 socket to support 8th and 9th generation Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron processors. Four 288‑pin DDR4 slots accept up to 128 GB in dual‑channel mode. Three PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots and three x1 slots give room for graphics cards and add‑in boards.
The board draws power through standard ATX and CPU connectors and runs at stock speeds with typical airflow. Integrated voltage regulation handles supported CPUs without extra cooling in normal desktop workloads. No onboard fan headers are described in the data, so case fans manage system noise.
Six SATA 6Gb/s ports and one M.2 socket provide storage options, with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 supported on the SATA array. Lift the socket lever, align the processor notches with the socket keys, lower the CPU gently without forcing it, close the load plate, and lock the lever back down; the step many miss is removing the plastic protective cover from the load plate before seating the processor.
