The Gyration CYBERVIEW3020 is a wireless IP camera that streams 3-megapixel 2K video over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi link. It is powered by an integrated solar panel and rechargeable battery, so no mains wiring is required. The pan-tilt head rotates 355 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically for wide-area coverage. This suits homeowners who want a completely wire-free outdoor view.

Solar power with microSD storage

The bundled solar panel keeps the internal battery topped up, removing the need for a power cable or frequent recharging. A microSD card slot provides local recording without a subscription or separate network video recorder. Motion detection triggers instant alerts to the companion app, letting you review events directly from the card. There is no cloud service included in the box.

2304x1296 resolution and 355° pan

The 1/2.8 inch CMOS sensor captures 2304 by 1296 pixel footage at 3 megapixels, which is sufficient for recognising faces and number plates at typical garden distances. Digital zoom extends the view beyond the fixed 3.2 mm f/2.2 lens, but detail drops off quickly past the optical limit. The camera cannot record continuously for weeks on battery alone, and it lacks a 5 GHz Wi-Fi radio for congested environments.
