This unit is not for buyers who want more storage bays or a second processor installed from the start.

Redundant power and SAS storage with hot-swap bays

Two 500W hot-swap power supplies provide redundancy for continuous operation. Four 3.5-inch LFF drive bays hold the included 300GB 15K SAS drives connected to the Smart HBA H240ar controller. The controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SAS and SATA devices. No optical drive or GPU beyond the Matrox G200 is present.

Single CPU limits memory capacity to 16GB

The motherboard offers 24 DIMM slots split evenly across two processor sockets, yet only one CPU is populated. This halves the usable slots to 12 and caps maximum memory at 16GB with the current configuration. Adding a second processor would unlock the remaining slots and raise the ceiling toward 3TB.
