This 2U rack system ships with two eight-core Intel Xeon E5-2630v3 processors running at 2.4GHz. It targets organisations that need dense compute for virtualisation, database or application workloads in a standard cabinet. The C610 chipset and redundant hot-swap power supplies support continuous operation in production environments. Buyers who need more than 36 total cores or a different processor generation should look elsewhere.

64GB DDR4 at 2400MT/s max

The unit arrives with 64GB of ECC registered DDR4 spread across 24 DIMM slots, twelve per processor. Memory runs up to 2400MT/s depending on CPU capability, and the platform ceiling is 64GB with the installed modules. Two 1TB 7.2K 2.5-inch SAS drives connect through the Smart HBA H240ar controller, which supports RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60. The eight SFF bays limit internal expansion unless additional bay kits are added later. Workloads that demand NVME or larger local capacity will hit the bay ceiling quickly.

2U rack footprint with expansion bays

The chassis occupies 2U and provides eight SFF drive bays, with optional universal media bay, NVME bay or extra SFF cages available for bays two and three. Redundant 500W power supplies and the Matrox G200eH2 graphics adapter are integrated. No operating system is included, so the installer must supply licences and media. Builds that require GPU acceleration or front-panel media access need the optional kits, which are not in the box.
