Dual Xeon 24-bay 2U rack server

The HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9 fits into a standard 2U rack space and ships with two Xeon E5-2643 v3 processors running at 3.4 GHz. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory are installed across the 24 DIMM slots. The chassis provides 24 small-form-factor drive bays for 2.5-inch SAS drives.

P440 controller with flash-backed cache

A Smart Array P440 controller with 4 GB of flash-backed write cache manages the 24 drive bays and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Two 500 W hot-swap power supplies provide redundant power. No operating system or drives are included in the bundle.

Maximum memory capped at 32 GB
