It is suited for virtualization hosts, database nodes or general compute clusters that need dense processing in a standard rack footprint. The Smart Array P440 controller with 4 GB FBWC manages the included storage.

Integrates into a 16-bay SFF chassis

Sixteen 2.5-inch SAS drive bays are available; two 1 TB 7.2K drives are installed and the P440 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across all bays. An optional universal media bay or an extra eight SFF bays can occupy the third bay area. Dual hot-swap power supplies deliver redundancy without external UPS units. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics provide basic console output for headless management.
