Blade server for dense compute

This HPE BL460c G10 blade server fits into a c-Class enclosure and delivers dual-socket performance for virtualization or database workloads. Two Xeon Gold 5115 processors run at 2.4 GHz with ten cores each and 13.75 MB cache. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed, expandable to 128 GB. Dual 1.8 TB SAS hard drives connect through a Smart Array P204i-b SR controller. Integrated Lights-Out Advanced and a FlexFabric 20 Gb two-port adapter handle remote management and networking.

Suited for existing c-Class racks

IT teams that already operate HPE c-Class infrastructure can add compute density without new cabling or power architecture. The half-height blade supports up to two 2.5-inch drives and maxes out at two processors, so workloads that demand more local storage bays, additional CPU sockets, or discrete GPU acceleration will need a different form factor. Buyers without a compatible enclosure and interconnect modules cannot use this server.

Two 1.8 TB SAS drives and P204i-b controller

The installed storage consists of two 1.8 TB SAS hard drives managed by the Smart Array P204i-b SR Gen10 controller. This RAID engine determines the available redundancy levels and maximum logical volumes.
