With 256 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory already installed at the maximum supported capacity, the blade is ready for virtualization hosts, database nodes or high-performance workloads that demand high core counts and large memory footprints in a half-height form factor.

Verify enclosure power and cooling before ordering

The blade requires an HPE c-Class enclosure with compatible power supplies and active cooling modules to support the dual-processor thermal load. Confirm that the enclosure backplane provides the necessary SAS connectivity for the two 1.8 TB 2.5-inch drives and that the 10 GbE 2-port 562T adapter matches your uplink modules. Integrated iLO Advanced remote management needs a dedicated management network and valid licensing for full feature access.

P244br controller and dual drives enable local RAID

The Smart Array P244br with 1 GB flash-backed write cache supports RAID 0, 1 and 10 across the two installed SAS hard drives, giving immediate redundancy or capacity options without extra hardware. Firmware is updated to the latest stable version before shipment and the system undergoes full diagnostics and burn-in testing. A rail kit is available on request for rack installations that require it.
