This HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is a 1U rack server built for hybrid environments that need dense compute and large storage capacity. It ships with two Xeon Silver 4410y 12-core processors running at 2.00 GHz with 3.90 GHz turbo, 512 GB of DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory across 16 DIMMs, and 61.44 TB of enterprise SAS SSD storage on eight 7.68 TB drives. The bundle includes a MR408i-o storage controller, embedded four-port 1 GbE OCP3 networking, dual hot-swap power supplies, iLO 6 remote management and a rail kit.

Virtualisation hosts needing maximum DIMM slots

The 16 populated DIMM slots leave no room for memory expansion, so buyers who anticipate growing beyond 512 GB should look elsewhere. The eight 2.5-inch drive bays are fully occupied by the included SSDs, so deployments that require additional internal drives or a different drive interface cannot use this configuration as-is. Organisations without rack infrastructure or in-house assembly capability will also need a different form factor or a pre-installed system.
