U.2 NVMe Mobile Rack

The ICY DOCK MB601VK-B adapts a single 2.5 inch U.2 NVMe SSD or SAS and SATA drive into a standard 3.5 inch external bay. It provides a direct connection for hot-swap capability without cables. The matte black tray fits floppy bay openings and supports 32Gb/s transfer rates for NVMe devices. A compatible U.2 host connection is required for all supported drive types.

Build Integration

The unit occupies one external 3.5 inch bay and secures with standard case screws. It eliminates internal drive cages and frees motherboard SATA ports when using NVMe drives. Power and data pass through the U.2 connector to the host backplane or adapter card. The enclosed tray protects the drive during transport and insertion.

Target Users
