Dual-connector flash drive for iPhone and PC

The iDiskk U006-128GB combines a Lightning connector with USB 3.0 Type-A and Type-C plugs in a silver metal body. It provides 128GB of extra storage for iPhone models up to the 14 series, iPad models with Lightning ports, and computers with Type-A or Type-C ports. The drive is MFi certified, meaning Apple has approved the Lightning interface for reliable operation. It weighs 19g and measures 2.44 in by 0.75 in by 0.35 in.

Plug in and use the companion app for backup

No driver installation is required on iOS, iPadOS, macOS or Windows; the drive appears as a removable volume once the free iDiskk app is launched. The app handles one-click photo and video backup and can record directly to the stick. A common issue is forgetting to grant the app permission to access the Photos library, which prevents automatic backup from working. The Lightning connector fits most slim cases, but very thick rugged cases may block full insertion.

Check your device ports

This model uses a Lightning connector, so it will not fit iPhone 15 or later models that use USB-C. Verify that your iPhone or iPad has a Lightning port and runs a current iOS version supported by the app. On the computer side, ensure you have an available USB 3.0 Type-A or Type-C port to reach the quoted read speed of up to 85MB/s and write speed of up to 70MB/s. The drive is formatted exFAT out of the box for cross-platform compatibility.
