The iStorage diskAshur2 is a 2TB portable hard drive that unlocks only after a 7-15 digit PIN is entered on its built-in keypad. It uses real-time AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption validated to FIPS PUB 197 and a Common Criteria EAL5+ ready secure microprocessor. No software installation is required, so it works on any device with a USB port including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and embedded systems.

Sustained transfer rates over USB 3.1

Sequential read speeds reach 160MB/s and writes reach 143MB/s over the USB 3.1 interface, which is backwards compatible with USB 3.2. The drive enters a deadlock frozen state when an automated attack is detected, protecting data during prolonged unattended use. Its IP56 certified enclosure resists dust and splashes, allowing reliable operation in field conditions.
