USB 3.0 to SATA adapter
The Jansicotek USB 3.0 to SATA 22-pin adapter cable connects any standard 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD to a computer through a USB 3.0 port. It supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. The adapter works with Windows, Mac OS X and PS4 systems. It provides a simple way to access external storage for backup or drive upgrades.
Included 12V 2A power adapter
A 12V 2A power adapter is included and connects via a DC-Jack port on the cable. This supply is necessary for 3.5-inch drives and also supports 2.5-inch units. The cable enables plug-and-play and hot-swapping operation without driver installation. UASP support reduces processor overhead by 80 percent and can deliver 70 percent faster transfers when the host controller also supports UASP.
Up to 12TB drive support
The adapter handles SATA drives up to 12TB, covering most current 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch HDDs and SSDs. It complies with SATA 2.0 standards and works with drives rated at 1.5 Gbps and 3 Gbps. The USB 3.0 interface caps throughput at 5 Gbps, so the fastest SATA III SSDs will not reach their native 6 Gbps potential through this adapter.

Preguntas sobre este artículo
Will the 12 V 2 A power adapter need to be replaced after extended use?
The included 12 V 2 A power adapter powers both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives; it has no published replacement interval, so it should be swapped only if it fails or shows unstable voltage.
What limits sustained transfer speed on this adapter?
The USB 3.0 interface caps throughput at 5 Gbps, and UASP support reduces CPU overhead by 80 % while delivering up to 70 % higher real-world speed than bulk endpoints.
How much heat or noise does the adapter generate during all-day operation?
The adapter itself has no fan and draws little power, so it runs silently; heat comes mainly from the attached drive and the external 12 V 2 A supply.
