The Lenovo IdeaCentre 17L is a compact desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor with 20 cores and 20 threads. It ships with 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory in a single module and a 1TB NVMe M.2 2280 TLC solid-state drive. Windows 11 Home 64-bit comes pre-installed. Integrated Intel graphics drive the display outputs. It suits home office, education and light content tasks.

Simple internal access

The chassis measures 10.98 inches deep, 6.69 inches wide and 14.8 inches high. A side panel removes without tools to reveal one full-height PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and one full-height PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Two additional M.2 2280 slots sit alongside the occupied WLAN slot for future SSD expansion. The 310W internal power supply limits graphics card choices to low-power models. Front USB-C and USB-A ports sit beside a combo audio jack.

Steady thermal behaviour

A single rear system fan exhausts heat from the 17-litre enclosure. Under sustained multi-core load the processor maintains clocks within its 30MB Smart Cache limits while the fan speed rises audibly. Surface temperatures on the top panel stay warm but safe to touch. The integrated 100/1000M Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.2 keep network latency stable during long transfers. No liquid cooling or secondary fans are present.
