The Minuteman EXR1500RTHVNC is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 1500 VA and 1350 W with a 208 VAC output option. Its 2U form factor fits dense rack cabinets while pre-installed ears and an optional wall-mount kit allow tower or wall deployment. True sine-wave output in both AC and battery modes protects sensitive electronics in critical environments.

Input window and battery limits

The unit accepts 80 to 164 VAC (150 to 271 VAC at 208 VAC nominal) with auto-sensing 50/60 Hz frequency tolerance of ±6 Hz. At full load the internal battery delivers 2.5 minutes of runtime, extending to 9 minutes at half load. A replaceable BM0087 module and independent battery bypass keep the UPS online during battery service. Cold-start capability allows boot without utility power.

Connectivity and protection upgrade

Six NEMA 6-15R outlets and a NEMA 6-15P input replace basic surge strips with managed backup power. DB-9, USB and RJ-45 ports add network management and graceful shutdown, while 1 Gbit Ethernet in/out surge protection guards data lines. The 1000 joule surge rating and 0.9 power factor improve on entry-level units that lack sine-wave output or remote monitoring.
