DDR4 3200 registered ECC limits
DDR4 3200 sets the maximum transfer rate at PC4-25600 with a CAS latency of CL22 at 1.2 V. Registered buffering adds one clock cycle of address and command delay, which is mandatory for the target server chipsets. Mixed-rank or unbuffered modules cannot be used alongside this kit without violating the platform memory rules.
288-pin RDIMM build and daily handling
Modules use major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips on standard-height green PCBs without heat spreaders, fitting dense server DIMM arrays. The 288-pin registered form factor keys only into DDR4 RDIMM slots, preventing accidental insertion into UDIMM or DDR5 sockets.
