The 500 RPM floor lets the curve drop to near-silent operation during light loads. Beyond 1700 RPM the fan cannot spin faster, so extremely restrictive loops or very high heat loads may need additional airflow. The +/- 200 RPM tolerance means actual peak speed can vary slightly between units.

The manufacturer rates maximum noise at 30 dBA, which is generally inaudible inside a closed case under typical system load. Fluid dynamic bearing construction reduces friction and contributes to long-term acoustic consistency.
