The NZXT Kraken Plus 240 is an all-in-one liquid cooler built for mainstream desktop CPUs. It fits Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200 and 115X sockets alongside AMD AM5 and AM4 platforms. A 1.54-inch square LCD on the pump head shows real-time system data or custom images and GIFs at 240 × 240 resolution and 30 Hz refresh.

281 mm radiator length

The aluminium radiator measures 281 mm long, 120 mm wide and 27 mm thick, so the chassis must clear that length plus the 25 mm fan depth. Two 120 mm fluid-dynamic-bearing fans push up to 73.47 CFM at 2,000 RPM and connect via 4-pin PWM for automatic speed control. The 400 mm CIIR rubber tubes with nylon braided sleeves give routing flexibility inside standard mid-tower cases.

Cooling capacity for mainstream workloads

The pump runs between 1,200 and 2,800 RPM to move coolant through a split-flow copper cold plate that targets the hottest CPU zones. Fan noise stays at 30.0 dBA at full speed and drops to zero RPM under light loads. This 240 mm unit handles typical gaming and productivity heat loads; sustained heavy overclocks or multi-core rendering may exceed its thermal headroom.
