128GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM Kit

This kit supplies 128GB of DDR4 2933 registered ECC memory in four 32GB modules. It is built for Dell PowerEdge C4140 servers running SkyLake CPUs and replaces Dell part numbers 8WKDY, AA579531, AA601616, AB003153, SNP8WKDYC/32G and SNP8WKDYC/32VXR. Modules run at 1.2V with CL21 latency and a 2Rx4 rank layout.

Works in PowerEdge C4140 only

The memory fits the PowerEdge C4140 (SkyLake CPU) and other systems that accept DDR4 288-pin registered ECC RDIMMs. It will not work in standard desktops, laptops or consumer motherboards that require unbuffered non-ECC modules. Buyers who need unbuffered memory or load-reduced DIMMs must choose a different product type.

Registered ECC with 2Rx4 organisation

Each module uses a 2Rx4 registered ECC organisation, which is the single specification that determines compatibility with the server memory controller.
