What this kit provides

This dual-channel kit delivers 32 GB of DDR4 ECC memory in two 16 GB SO-DIMM modules. It targets laptops, all-in-one PCs and NAS devices that support 260-pin unbuffered ECC memory and benefit from error correction. The kit is not for systems that require registered or load-reduced modules, nor for platforms limited to non-ECC memory.

Capacity and headroom

Two 16 GB modules give 32 GB total at 3200 MHz with CL22 latency and 1.2 V operation. The PC4-25600 rating provides headroom for multitasking, larger datasets and virtual machines, while JEDEC backward compatibility allows the sticks to run at 2933, 2666, 2400 or 2133 MHz when the platform demands it. Workloads that exceed 32 GB or require faster latency will outgrow this kit.

Build integration

Each module uses the standard 260-pin SO-DIMM form factor without a heat spreader, fitting tight laptop and NAS slots. The unbuffered ECC design works with compatible chipsets that expose ECC functionality; it will not function as ECC on platforms that lack support. No extra cooling or voltage adjustment is needed beyond the stock 1.2 V specification.
