SKU CH-QFYP-YQF0E

Mini HAT with a 0.96" 160x80 IPS LCD, a 24V 2A relay, three 12-bit ADC channels and 24V tolerant I/O

  • 96" IPS colour LCD shows status at a glance with 160x80 resolution
  • 12-bit ADS1015 ADC reads three 0-24V channels at ±2% accuracy
  • 24V 2A relay with NC and NO terminals switches higher-voltage loads
  • Three 24V tolerant buffered inputs and three sinking outputs handle industrial signals
  • 5mm screw terminals and breakout-compatible header simplify wiring and stacking

Automation HAT Mini Monitor

The Pimoroni PIM487 Automation HAT Mini Monitor is a compact development board that adds a 0.96 inch 160x80 colour LCD to a Raspberry Pi. It lets makers monitor and control 24V industrial or home-automation systems directly from the mini HAT form factor.

3 x 12-bit ADC and 24V I/O

Three ADS1015 analogue inputs measure 0 to 24V signals with ±2% accuracy while three buffered inputs and three sinking outputs handle 24V logic. A single 2A relay with normally-open and normally-closed contacts switches loads up to 24V through 3.5mm screw terminals.

Thermals noise and power

The board draws minimal current from the Pi's GPIO header and the relay coil activates only when switched. No active cooling is fitted so operation stays silent and the components run cool during typical monitoring and switching tasks.

Preguntas sobre este artículo

What does the 0.96" 160x80 LCD show when the board is running?

The IPS panel displays live status of the relay, three analogue inputs and three outputs so you can verify 24V circuits without a separate screen.

How does the ADS1015 12-bit ADC limit what voltages I can measure?

Each of the three channels reads 0-24V with ±2% accuracy, so signals outside that range need external scaling before they reach the screw terminals.

What clearance does the Mini HAT format and 3.5mm screw terminals need inside an enclosure?

The board follows the Raspberry Pi HAT footprint and the terminal blocks add roughly 12mm of height, so allow at least 15mm above the GPIO header for wiring access.
