PS5-ready expansion with heatsink
The Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 4TB internal SSD includes a CNC aluminium heatsink built to replace the console's native cover. This design uses a sandwich construction to apply even pressure across the drive for consistent heat transfer. The bundle fits the PS5 expansion slot directly for a quick installation.
Heatsink replaces the stock cover
Unlike add-on sinks that trap heat under the metal lid, the supplied heatsink becomes the new cover and works with the PS5's internal fan. This arrangement improves airflow over the controller and NAND during extended play sessions. The drive therefore sustains its rated speeds without thermal throttling.
PCIe 4.0 x4 interface limits
The drive connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 lane, delivering up to 7000 MBps sequential read and 6850 MBps sequential write. Random performance reaches 650000 IOPS read and 700000 IOPS write. Endurance is rated at 3000 TBW with an MTBF of 1600000 hours. Operating temperature range is 0 °C to 70 °C.
