Dual Xeon Silver 4110 2U server

The Supermicro SYS-6029U-E1CR4T is a 2U rack-mount server built around two Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processors, each running at 2.1 GHz with 8 cores. It ships with 512 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 DIMM slots. Twelve front-accessible 3.5-inch hot-plug bays accept SATA or SAS drives for high-capacity storage arrays. The platform targets virtualization hosts, hyper-converged clusters and cloud workloads that need dual-socket compute density in a standard rack form factor.

Titanium 1000 W redundant power and thermal design

Two hot-swap 1000 W Titanium-rated power supplies provide full redundancy and high-efficiency conversion under typical enterprise loads. The 2U chassis uses directed airflow across the dual LGA 3647 sockets, memory risers and the MegaRAID 9361-8i controller to maintain stable temperatures during sustained operation. Fan speeds scale with inlet temperature and component load, keeping acoustic output within expectations for a data-centre rack row. IPMI 2.0 exposes real-time sensor data for remote thermal monitoring.

Twelve drive trays, quad 10GbE and expansion slots

Twelve included drive trays lock into the front backplane without tools, allowing quick drive replacement while the system runs. Four 10GBase-T ports from the Intel X710 controller deliver high-throughput networking over copper cabling. A dedicated RJ45 management port gives out-of-band KVM-over-LAN and virtual media access via IPMI 2.0. Internal expansion includes two full-height PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, four full-height x8 slots and one low-profile x8 slot for additional controllers or accelerators. Front bezel and rack rails are not included.
