The Synology RS3626xs arrives fully assembled with twelve 8 TB enterprise SATA drives for 96 TB raw capacity, a 6-core Xeon D-1726 processor and 48 GB DDR4 ECC memory. Dual redundant power supplies and a 2-port 25 GbE SFP28 adapter are installed and tested. It targets IT teams that need immediate, high-throughput file, backup or virtualization storage without a build step.
Suited for high-bandwidth file and backup workloads
The dual 10 GbE RJ-45 ports and 25 GbE uplinks serve environments that move large datasets across the LAN, while the 12-bay chassis supports mixed 3.5-inch HDD and 2.5-inch SSD populations. Teams that need more than twelve drive slots, GPU compute, or direct Fibre Channel attachment will need a different platform. Operating temperature is rated 0 °C to 35 °C.
