Straightforward Installation with Software Setup

Place the tower on a flat surface, plug the NEMA 5-15P input into a grounded 120V wall outlet, and connect devices to the labelled outlets. The USB port enables HID-compliant communication with PowerChute Personal Edition for automated shutdown configuration. A 12-hour recharge period is required before the unit delivers its full 2.3-minute runtime at full load or 10.6 minutes at half load.

Verify Load Requirements and Outlet Types

Confirm that the total connected draw stays within the 600-watt rating and that critical devices use the four battery-backed outlets. The input voltage window is 88 to 139V at 60 Hz, so ensure your supply falls in that range. Data-line protection covers RJ-45 Ethernet and coaxial connections, but the unit only supplies 120V AC output.
