Sustained Load Behaviour with 16GB DDR4

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory support the native 10GbE port and multi-protocol file services during continuous read and write streams. The system maintains throughput for concurrent users and virtual machines by keeping hot data in RAM while the four installed drives handle the persistent write path across RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 or JBOD configurations.

Practical Limits of 10GBASE-T and SATA III

The single 10GBASE-T interface tops out at ten gigabits per second over copper cabling up to one hundred metres, so aggregate throughput cannot exceed that ceiling even with faster drives.
