The Buffalo TeraStation 12-bay unit arrives populated with twelve enterprise-grade 20 TB hard drives, delivering 240 TB raw capacity. It ships pre-configured in RAID 6 for 181 TB usable space and can be reconfigured to RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 or JBOD. Four 10GbE ports and dual PCIe Gen 4x8 slots support high-throughput workloads in modern IT environments.

16 GB DDR4 ECC memory and redundant power

Installed DDR4 16 GB ECC memory handles concurrent file services and snapshot operations. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports provide direct-attached backup or peripheral expansion. The internal 100-240 V AC supply operates at 238 W idle, 251 W during data transfer and up to 500 W maximum within a 0-40 °C range.

NASNavigator2 and NovaBACKUP Buffalo Edition

NASNavigator2 simplifies discovery and initial setup across the network. NovaBACKUP Buffalo Edition supplies one server and ten workstation licenses for scheduled backup jobs. A quick setup guide, AC cable and front panel key complete the package for immediate rack deployment.
