The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack-mountable tower server built for small-office and remote-office workloads such as file, print, mail and web serving. Two Intel Xeon E5-2667 v4 processors run at 3.2 GHz with 3.6 GHz turbo across eight cores each, supported by 128 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory in eight 16 GB modules. The Intel C610 chipset provides twelve DIMM slots for expansion up to 384 GB. A PERC H730 1 GB controller manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across eight 3.5-inch SAS/SATA drive bays.

Dual 750 W platinum power supplies

Redundant hot-swap 750 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies share the load and allow one unit to be replaced without downtime. The 5U chassis directs airflow across both CPU sockets, the memory array and the storage backplane to keep thermals stable under typical office workloads. Integrated Broadcom 5720 dual-port 1 GbE LOM handles network traffic without adding a discrete NIC, reducing both power draw and acoustic output in quiet office environments.

iDRAC 8 Express and front bezel

iDRAC 8 Express gives remote console, power control and hardware monitoring over a dedicated management port, so administrators can troubleshoot or reboot the server without physical access. The PERC H730 battery-backed cache protects in-flight write data during unexpected power loss, preserving array integrity. A front bezel is included to secure the drive bays and present a clean appearance in visible locations. Plastic mounting feet are not supplied, so the unit must be installed in a rack or on a compatible shelf.
