This Dell PowerEdge R630 is a 1U rack-mount server system supplied new. It arrives with a single Intel Xeon E5-2637 V3 quad-core processor running at 3.5 GHz and 64 GB of installed DDR4 memory. The chassis includes two 750 W redundant hot-swap power supplies and a Dell PERC H730 RAID controller with 2 GB cache. No operating system or drives are included.

The 1U form factor and 24 DIMM slots support memory-heavy workloads such as virtualisation clusters or database nodes where rack density matters. Four 1 GbE ports on the NDC daughter card handle standard network traffic. The installed processor provides four cores with hyper-threading for eight logical threads at a 3.5 GHz base frequency. A second socket is available on the Intel C610 chipset for future expansion.
