24-bay 2.5-inch SAS/SATA backplane

The chassis provides twenty-four front-accessible trays that accept both SAS and SATA drives, letting operators mix high-capacity hard disks with faster solid-state media. No drives are included, so the buyer selects the exact capacity and endurance mix the workload requires.

PERC H730P RAID controller with battery-backed cache

The integrated H730P supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode, and its 2GB flash-backed cache protects in-flight writes during power loss.
