The Dell Precision T7910 is a tower workstation built around a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 processor with eight cores running at 2.1 GHz. Hyperthreading provides sixteen logical threads for parallel workloads such as rendering, simulation or virtualisation. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 ECC memory and a new 500 GB SATA SSD supply the baseline capacity for professional applications. The chassis accommodates up to four M.2 PCIe SSDs and either four 3.5-inch or eight 2.5-inch SATA/SAS drives, though a separate PCIe controller is required for RAID 5. Memory scales to 1 TB when a second CPU is installed, using sixteen DIMM slots in a quad-channel configuration up to 2400 MHz.

A 1300 W power supply rated at 90 % efficiency with active power factor correction delivers stable power for high-density configurations. The black tower measures 21.5 by 8.5 by 17.2 inches and weighs 50 lbs, requiring adequate desk or floor space. Dual Intel gigabit controllers (I217 and I210) provide wired network redundancy.
