Dell Precision T7910 Workstation

This Dell Precision T7910 tower workstation ships new with a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 eight-core processor running at 2.1 GHz. It includes 8 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and a 250 GB SATA solid-state drive. The Nvidia NVS 310 graphics card provides 512 MB of video memory and dual DisplayPort outputs. No operating system is installed.

1300 W power supply and expandable storage

The 1300 W power supply delivers 90 percent efficiency with active power factor correction. Dual DisplayPort connectors on the NVS 310 support two monitors directly from the graphics card. Internal drive bays accept up to four 3.5-inch SATA or eight 2.5-inch SATA or SAS drives, plus four M.2 PCIe SSDs when an optional PCIe controller is added. The integrated LSI SAS 3008 controller supports software RAID 0, 1 and 10 across up to eight drives.

Upgrades from older Xeon towers

Builders moving from earlier single-socket Xeon towers gain eight physical cores with hyperthreading for 16 virtual cores and quad-channel DDR4 memory bandwidth.
