Replaces multiple loose drive cages

This unit consolidates six separate 2.5-inch drive mounts and a slim optical bay into one rugged metal enclosure. The upgrade is worth it when vibration resistance, hot-swap convenience and a unified 40mm cooling fan matter more than using internal 3.5-inch bays or external USB enclosures.

Requires SAS host for SAS drives
