Pico 2 W development board

The LORDWORLD Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W is a microcontroller board built around the RP2350 dual-core processor. It comes with a pre-soldered colourful header so you can start wiring circuits immediately. The board targets makers, students and engineers who want a compact platform for IoT prototypes, sensor projects or learning embedded programming with C/C++ and MicroPython.

Pre-soldered header and wireless

The header pins are already fitted, removing the need for a soldering iron before first use and giving a reliable mechanical connection for breadboards or custom PCBs. Onboard is an Infineon CYW43439 chip that provides WiFi 4 and Bluetooth 5.2, letting the board join local networks or talk to phones and sensors without extra modules. The 26 multi-function GPIO pins can be reconfigured for digital, analogue, PWM, UART, I2C or SPI roles as your design requires.

RP2350 architecture limits

The RP2350 offers two Arm Cortex-M33 cores and two open-hardware Hazard3 RISC-V cores, but only one architecture pair can run at a time so you must choose your toolchain upfront. Wireless bandwidth is capped by the WiFi 4 standard, so high-throughput streaming or large firmware transfers will be slower than on newer Wi-Fi generations. The board has no onboard battery management or voltage regulation beyond the USB supply, so portable designs need external power circuitry.

Questions sur cet article

What wireless standards does the onboard Infineon CYW43439 chip support on the Pico 2 W?

The Infineon CYW43439 provides WiFi 4 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity for the board.

What physical space does the pre-soldered header occupy on the Pico 2 W?

The colourful header is already soldered across the 26 multi-function GPIO pins, so the board needs clearance for that pin row.

Which SDK do I install first to program the RP2350 on this board?

Download the official Raspberry Pi Pico SDK, then choose the Arm Cortex-M33 or Hazard3 RISC-V toolchain in the project configuration.
