This bundle pairs the MAG X870E GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor. The board uses the AMD X870E chipset and an AM5 socket ready for Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series CPUs. It targets builders who want a high-performance gaming or workstation foundation in a single purchase.
An extended PWM heatsink covers the power delivery to keep the CPU running at full speed under load. The 64MB BIOS ROM stores microcode for current and future AM5 processors, improving long-term compatibility. No noise or power-draw figures are supplied for this combination.
Four DDR5 slots support up to 256GB at speeds up to 8200 MT/s when overclocked. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and one M.2 connector run at Gen5 from the CPU, while two additional M.2 slots use chipset Gen4 lanes. Onboard 5G LAN and Wi-Fi 7 with a 320MHz channel provide 5.8Gbps peak wireless throughput. EZ PCIe Release and tool-less M.2 Shield Frozr II simplify component swaps.
