The Solidigm D7-PS1010 delivers 15.36TB of storage in a U.2 15mm form factor built for server and data-centre workloads. It uses 176-layer TLC 3D NAND connected through a PCI-Express 5.0 x4 interface. Sequential reads reach up to 14500 MBps and writes up to 10000 MBps, with random performance of 3,000,000 read IOPS and 400,000 write IOPS. Endurance is rated at 1 DWPD and 14 PBW.

Upgrade from PCIe 4.0 or lower-capacity U.2 drives

Moving from a PCIe 4.0 U.2 SSD doubles the interface bandwidth, raising sequential throughput and reducing latency for read-heavy analytics or logging. The jump is worthwhile when the workload saturates a 4.0 link or when a single 15.36TB device can replace multiple smaller drives, simplifying array management.
