The Tripp Lite SMART1200LCD delivers 1200 VA and 700 W of battery backup for desktop workstations, networking gear and point-of-sale systems. Automatic voltage regulation corrects brownouts and overvoltages between 75 V and 147 V without using battery power. Thermals noise and power draw

Line-interactive topology keeps the unit quiet during normal operation because the inverter only runs when utility power falls outside the AVR window. The sealed valve-regulated lead-acid battery recharges from 10 % to 90 % in less than 4.5 hours. An audible alarm signals power failure, low battery or overload, and the alarm can be silenced through the included PowerAlert software.
