Connection Cable for Prototyping
This 100 mm cable links STEMMA QT and Qwiic boards using 4-pin JST SH connectors on both ends. The 1 mm pitch design keeps the assembly compact while maintaining a secure latch. Symmetrical wiring means either connector can attach to the sensor or the controller without orientation concerns.
Verify Board Headers Before Ordering
Confirm that both devices expose a 4-pin JST SH header with the standard pinout. The cable carries power, ground and I²C data lines in a fixed colour sequence. Mismatched pin assignments or a different pitch connector will prevent the link from functioning.
Colour-Coded Wires Simplify Wiring
Red, black, blue and yellow conductors map directly to 3.3 V power, ground, SDA and SCL respectively. This labelling removes guesswork when debugging the bus. No additional adapters or software are required to use the cable with compatible boards.

Domande su questo articolo
What comes with the 100mm STEMMA QT cable and do I need any extra headers or boards?
The cable is a single 4-wire lead with JST-SH female connectors on both ends; no additional headers, boards or accessories are included.
How do I pick between the STEMMA QT and Qwiic ends on this cable?
Both connectors are identical JST-SH 4-pin plugs wired for 3.3 V power, ground, SDA and SCL, so either end can mate with any STEMMA QT or Qwiic port.
What do the 3.3 V power and I2C lines do once the cable is plugged into a microcontroller board?
Red carries 3.3 V supply, black is ground, blue carries I2C SDA data and yellow carries I2C SCL clock, letting the host talk to the attached sensor or driver.
