The ASRock Rack E3C256D4U-2L2T fits Micro-ATX chassis and accepts one LGA1200 processor from the Intel Xeon E-2300 or 10th Gen Pentium families. Four DDR4 DIMM slots support ECC or non-ECC UDIMM up to 32 GB each. Dual 10 GbE and dual 1 GbE ports handle segregated traffic without extra cards.
Sustained-load behaviour with PCIe lane allocation
Under continuous throughput the primary x16 and x4 slots run at PCIe 4.0 speeds when a Xeon E-2300 CPU is installed, while 10th Gen Pentium processors limit the x16 slot to PCIe 3.0 and disable the x4 slot. The Aspeed AST2500 provides constant remote management video independent of the main GPU. Eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 maintain steady array performance during rebuilds.
LGA1200 socket decides processor compatibility
Only Intel Xeon E-2300 and 10th Gen Pentium series CPUs listed in the vendor support list will operate on this board. Builders needing other socket types or newer processor generations must select a different motherboard.
