The P440 controller manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SAS drives only.

P440 FBWC and redundant power impact

The Smart Array P440 with 4 GB flash-backed write cache accelerates write-heavy RAID operations and protects in-flight data during power loss. Dual 500 W hot-swap supplies keep the server running if one unit fails or needs replacement. No operating system is included, so you must supply your own hypervisor or OS licences. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics chip provides basic console output only.
