Server memory kit

This OWC kit delivers 64 GB of DDR3L 1600 ECC registered memory across four 16 GB modules. It is built for Supermicro A+ Server 1012C, 1012G, 1042G, 1122GG and 2022G systems. The modules use 240-pin RDIMM form factor with 2Rx4 organisation and 1.35 V operation. They will not work in standard desktop computers or alongside unbuffered memory.

Capacity and headroom

The 64 GB total provides substantial headroom for virtualisation, database workloads and multi-user file services on supported platforms. Four populated slots leave no room for further expansion on boards limited to four DIMM sockets. Workloads that exceed 64 GB or require higher memory speeds will hit the kit's ceiling.

Build integration

Each module is a registered ECC RDIMM, so the host platform must support registered memory and ECC correction. The 1.35 V DDR3L voltage matches the specified Supermicro servers without additional configuration. Mixing these modules with unbuffered DIMMs is not supported and will prevent boot.
