DDR3L 1866 ECC UDIMM Kit
This OWC kit provides eight gigabytes of DDR3L memory in a matched pair of four-gigabyte modules. The sticks run at 1866 MT/s with a CAS latency of 13 and operate at the low 1.35 volt DDR3L standard. Error-correcting code and unbuffered operation make the kit suitable for workstations, servers and NAS units that require data integrity.
Suited for ECC platforms only
Systems that support unbuffered ECC DDR3L will benefit from the error detection and correction these modules provide. Desktop boards without ECC support in the chipset or BIOS cannot use the feature and should select non-ECC memory instead.
